Trahanas belongs to the category of small pasta. It has a shape that resembles a small lump. The dough is created from an excellent quality mixture of hard and soft flours, full-fat sheep's milk which is "ripened" carefully to give aroma and taste, eggs and salt. It can be cooked as a white or colored soup, accompanied by oven roast as a pilaf and made into an excellent pie. It is an excellent food for babies and small children but also a wonderful traditional breakfast for everyone.
