Investment in excess of 1 million euros was completed by the company 3alfa – K. Karageorgiou Bros. SA for the expansion of the capacity of the existing unit, with a new state-of-the-art packaging machine, gradually implementing the sustainable development of the company.
This year, the 3 alpha gives weight to new packages, as it proceeded with the implementation of an investment of 1.1 million euros in a new machine with metal detector, automatic weighing, boxing machine and parallel modernization of electrical installations, which will increase production.
The company aims to release new packages of legumes that will improve their image on the shelves, to support the series “Ready Of course” with promotions and ads, to develop new codes and to strengthen collaborations with Greek producers, by promoting their products.
Also, the industry will complete its digital modernization in 2021, as it will be the new member of the Our-Greece initiative, while it will participate as a collaborating party in the “Alliance for the Reduction of Food Waste” in Greece.
In fact, 3 alfa is said to give weight to international sales, since 2020 was a year in which it started cooperation with a foreign sales promotion company, expecting the increase of export activity in three years. This is one of the reasons why the company is planning its presence at the international exhibition Anuga in Cologne, next October.
