Fish, vegetables and cheese first on the list of preferences
Ralf Decker, CEO of the German food and beverage chain Hamberger, expressed interest in Greek products in a meeting with officials from the Munich Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs.
Specifically, he mentioned fish as his first area of interest, and in this context he accepted a proposal for the group’s fish market manager to participate in the business mission organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber in Messolonghi from 16 to 19 September.
Secondly, Hamberger, which operates with the cash and carry system modeled on the American Costco, focuses on vegetables and cheese products.
However, Mr. Decker pointed out that the most important inhibitory problem for the development of new trade partnerships is the issue of logistics and the ability to dispose of significant quantities in large packages and on a regular basis.
