Kanula beer comes and aims to shake the Greek habit of drinking beer. Mostly Greek consumers prefer German-style beers. Kanula, a fresh, sterile ale, wants to win the hearts of Greek consumers and be the new daily thirsty proposition.
According to Mr. Theofanous, Greece is initially the target. “To give ourselves the luxury of a good beer,” he says characteristically. 500 glass bottles of 500ml and barrel will be available in the Greek market. Kanula beer hopes to conquer the Greek market as a consumer product, as it initially targets HoReCa and Retail and then to gain similar popularity abroad.
It is noted that Kanula will be produced at the new facilities of 33 Brewing Company in Aspropyrgos. Behind the brewery’s business is Cava di Patsi, which has been the sole dealer and distributor of Flaros products since day one.
