More than 300 wineries from 23 countries participated in the 40th London Wine Fair which took place from 7 to 9 June 2022 in London.
During the three days of operation of the exhibition at the Hellenic National Peritero, a wine bar operated in which selected labels from all the participating wineries were sampled. A total of 23 Greek wineries participated with the support of the Region of Central Macedonia, the Region of Crete but also through independent participation.
The Greek participation was supplemented with the infokiosk of the Region of Central Greece in which exclusively PGI (Protection of Geographical Indication) labels of Central Greece were shown by wineries of the Region.
The wine bar was staffed by six distinguished Sommelier and Wine Experts who had direct contact with the British market, contributing to the better promotion of Greek wines.
Greek Masterclasses
As part of the exhibition, three Masterclasses dedicated to Greek wine were held, which were attended by more than 300 professionals.
