Gesha Panama, one of the most special coffees in the world, arrives at the Espresso Bars of the chain only for October 1, 2021, at a special price.
Coffee Island celebrates World Coffee Day, for another year, in the most unique and delicious way. Exclusively for Friday, October 1st, the famous and rare Gesha Panama variety arrives at the Espresso Bar of the chain stores.
True to the philosophy of “democratization” of specialty coffee, Coffee Island brings at the most affordable price, the most award-winning coffee that has been characterized and is considered the best coffee in the world.
Although associated with Panama, it comes from the Gori Gesha forest in southwestern Ethiopia – from which it took its name – and was discovered by British colonial expeditions in the 1930s. It arrived in Panama in 1963 from Don Pachi Serracin where the variety began to be grown. The high altitude and volcanic subsoil of Panama helped to create a coffee with a profile of astonishing complexity, different from any other coffee growing area in the world.
For this day, Coffee Island gives the opportunity to all its consumers to enjoy, in the drinks of Espresso Bar, the incredible taste complexity that hides the combination of apricot, bittersweet chocolate, cherry, grapefruit, mango and pomegranate.
