Large retailers include Nestlé plant-based brand Garden Gourmet, which, until now, was only available at HoReCa
The placement of three plant based codes on the shelves of retailers, is done gradually from the end of June and will be completed within July. The goal of the company is to develop the category and give new nutritional and taste options to consumers.
As Nestlé points out, the range includes three choices of 100% plant-based ingredients, which are a source of fiber and rich in protein. All products in the series are very easy to prepare and are based on soy, which is an alternative source of protein of high biological value.
The products of the Garden Gourmet series are the following:
• Garden Gourmet Sensational Burger
• Garden Gourmet Sensational Sausage
• Garden Gourmet Vegan Nuggets
In fact, the company invests in this category and plans to expand its portfolio in the future. It is noted that Nestlé, with 135 years of experience in the food category, with these three plant-based meals, available for the first time in the Greek market, aims to meet not only the needs of Vegans and Vegetarians, but also those looking for an alternative diet, with less meat.
