The Pinios Brewery is preparing its expansion in retail at the beginning of the summer, as it will join the AB Vassilopoulos chain, as well as its facilities in Larissa.
The company of Petros, Zarkos, Pitsioulis, recently launched the anniversary limited edition label Dort, which was produced in collaboration with Anastasiou Brewery. “Pinios” has been cooperating steadily in recent years with Anastasiou Brewery, while, jointly, they have launched two more labels. “Dort, which came out shortly before Easter, is available, both in our channels and in the sales channels of Anastasiou Brewery and will be available in the market until stocks run out”, says the Head of Operation of Pinios Brewery, Nikos Trakas on FnB Daily.
The Thessalian brewery also plans to enrich its portfolio in the near future, launching a lager in the summer, while, in collaboration with Anastasiou Brewery, it plans to re-launch the official Octoberfest beer, Marzen type, in September.
In terms of extroversion, Pinios, although it had started exporting in 2019, sending orders to the Netherlands, the pandemic froze the plan to expand abroad and as Mr. Trakas explains, once the market is normalized, cooperation with Cyprus will begin. . “We will probably also send to Australia and America, countries with which we have started talks,” he said. Finally, at the level of facilities, the company will proceed with the renewal of part of its mechanical equipment within June, while in 2022 it plans to expand 250 sqm to its factory in Larissa.
