Two more “diamonds” for EOS Samos

9 April 2021

EOS Samos received new awards and distinctions in the 15th international competition Femmes et Vins du Monde Concours International 2021 held in Monaco.

These are diamond awards and honorary distinctions won by the white, dry, muscat wines “Moschato Aspro” and “Psiles Korfes” of the EOS Samos cooperative. Specifically, “Moschato Aspro” stole the impressions of the judges of the competition so much that it won the “Diamant” medal and the “Trophee Admirable” medal with a high score. In fact, for “Moschato Aspro” it is his second “diamond”, as in the same competition in 2019, this wine was characterized as the second best wine of the event and the first best among the dry whites from those who participated then in the 13th Concours International.

The famous “Psiles Korfes”, the fine white dry wine of EOS Samos, also won its own “diamond” in the List de Vins Mention Honorifique. Its unquestionable quality and its fruity and floral aromas have placed it at the top of the consumer’s preference, both in Greece and abroad.

It is worth noting that EOS Samos, in the same competition in 2011 and 2019 won two more “Diamant” for its aged, sweet wine, Samos Anthemis. This year in the 15th competition “Femmes et Vins du Monde”, EOS SAMOU, sent for evaluation only these two wines, as representative samples of the variety white microscopic musk of Samos!

In this international competition, wines are tested exclusively by women judges, who are considered experts worldwide in oenology, wine, wine tourism and gastronomy, while the evaluation criteria are very strict and inviolable.
