Red Rhapsody

A compound journey of aromas & flavors of cherry, red fruits, olive, tomato and spices, braided in the luggage with a vanilla sonnets. The balanced structure & the long aftertaste in the mouth like measured poetry. Xinomavro & Syrah stunned the poet & he began to praise a rhapsody dressed in the colors of purple.

Terroir: Viticultural zone of Naoussa

Winemaking: Strict selection of grapes in the vineyard as well as upon receipt in the winery. Pre-fermentation cold soak is applied during red vinification and then temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in new French oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered.

Aging: 8 months aging in French oak barrels 250 L. Reductive aging in a bottle for 6 months.

Taste: Black-red color with purple highlights. The nose is dominated by aromas of freshly ground pepper, wild berries, leather, discreet vanilla. The full mouth, with velvety tannins dominating the palate, results in a unique long aftertaste.
