Our selected sardines are caught in the North Aegean Sea near the area of Mount Athos and their processing takes place while they are fresh. The sardine of this region is known for its excellent taste, due to the percentage of salt in the water and the rich depths of this crystal water sea, where the fish lives. Sardines are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce bad cholesterol in the blood. Therefore is considered to be one of the healthiest fish. Their combination with the wonderful organic olive oil gives us a treat of unique taste, with the scent of the sea.
Thinkgreen has 2 kind of sardines. One in organic extra virgin olive oil and another one in organic extra virgin olive oil with turmeric and black pepper.
Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory herb that helps for the well functions of the joints. Its combination with black pepper, in addition to complete the taste, also increases the absorption of turmeric.
