Rosemary belongs to the Lamiaceae family. It is an evergreen, upright shrub
with height 0.5 – 1.2 meters. It has opposite leaves. It grows spontaneously in stony areas in the countries of the Mediterranean basin.
The first harvest can take place in May, the second at the end of July and the
third at the beginning of October. It is used for its cholagogue, diaphoretic,
diuretic, emmenagogue, laxative and tonic activities.
