I.KARACHALIOS SA has been active in the Greek market especially in the food and confectionery sector since 1974.

-In 1974 Ioannis Karachalios was hired in the office of Efthymiou and Lymperis Nikas Bros, as a sales employee of their trade company that was operating in the following regions: Western Greece, Epirus, Ionian and Peloponnese.

-In 1985 after their retirement Mr. Karachalios took over the office and founded I.KARACHALIOS OE. which was based on Menandrou Street in the centre of Athens.The firm represented well-known companies of the Greek food industry such as: AGROVIM-LAVDAS-MABEL-ZOGRAFOS and KOUNINIOTIS which were and are represented up until now exclusively by the I. KARACHALIOS OE.

-In 1991 the company moves its headquarters and storage to privately owned facilities on Koumoundourou Street in Alimos and organizes its operations electronically.

-In 1994 the company changes its legal side to I.KARACHALIOS SA expands its activities, hires new partners and expands its trade network in Thessaly, Central Greece, Evia, Peloponnese, Epirus, the islands of Aegean and Ionion sea and Attiki where it continues successfully to this day.
Today the company I.KARACHALIOS SA cooperates with large supermarket chains such as: SKLAVENITIS, METRO, ELOMAS, PENTE SA (Galaxias), MARKET IN, THANOPOULOS, PROMITHEFTIKI SA, as well as with large chains: ., PAPADOPOULOS S., ANDRIKOPOULOS, DIELLAS LTD, GALAXIAS SA, PANAGIOTOPOULOS BROS, MOURGI BROS, SPAK MARKET and GEGOS SA
