NoThe winery and vineyards of ‘’Mesimvria Winery’’ are located in Nea Mesimvria, Thessaloniki, 20km. northwest of Thessaloniki on hills with a 200 m. altitude and a view on Thermaikos Bay.
The company was founded in 1996 by Pericles Drachas and Theodoros Paraskevopoulos with the aim of promoting the wine-growing potential of the region through the creation of quality wines. Soon they realized that in order to achieve this, intensive and random planting should cease and only quality grapes be produced on the basis of the potential of each vineyard.
