Based in Moudros of Lemnos, the company Salamousas Agrifood is active in the production, packaging and distribution of legumes, flour & cereals from local & traditional varieties of Lemnos.

The cultivation takes place both in privately owned lands and in collaboration with local producers through Contract Farming with the aim of producing local agri-food products such as Afkos (Lemnos fava), Lemnos Bean Aspromytiko, Medium chickpeas, Faki Psiloi from Sili & Varia Sitoli " Lemnos but also the fine Flour of Lemnos (Yellow & Whole Petromylo durum wheat variety Lemnos, Barley Petromylos, Oats etc).

The products are addressed both to retail stores (deli, groceries, traditional products, butchers) and to HO.RE.CA. (bakeries, restaurants, hotels, etc.) with packages of 500g, 1kg, 10kg, 25kg.

After years of involvement in the primary sector and cereals, Salamousas Agrifood aims to revive the traditional cultivation of legumes & cereals of Lemnos by transferring the quality of Lemnos Land to the table of the modern consumer, for this reason it was awarded by Gastronomos magazine Biodiversity Conservation Award 2020.
