NoWe discovered wine on our travels!
In travel we have discovered how to deal with prejudice and believe in our eyes and senses. So we opened our eyes to my hometown, which is famous since antiquity for its grains.
With the help of my husband, who is an agronomist, we saw the special features: the terrain, the distribution of rain, the deep soils, the daily breeze, the natural ripening of the grapes and the Platanorema (ancient river Ongistos) to wet the feet of our vineyard …
And in the dry landscape, we planted a bit of greenery and planted our vineyard against the prejudice that only grains grow here.
Our dry vineyard thrives from good to best for fifteen years, against Climate change raises its green stature in the dry summer. In our small winery, we make only our own grapes according to our personal tastes, which give us a wonderful wine!
Our varieties are only two: the Greek Malagouzia and the international Riesling, which are a unique original combination.
Our goal is to taste in our white wines a challenging journey beyond the tastings prejudices …
