2002: The company "Traditional Melekounia Michalis" is created by Loggos Michael in the village of Afandou of Rhodes, with activity of production and distribution with Melekouni at Engagements, Weddings and Baptisms.

2008: We renovate our facilities according to ISO standards: 22000.

2011: The company is transferred to new hands to the sons of Mr. Loggos Michael, Lefteris and Dimitris Longos.

2016: You create a packaging and standardization department of Melekouni with new packaging machines for the development of cooperation with stores.

29/11/2016: You register Melekouni as a PGI product of a protected Geographical Indication.

20/9/2018: Our company is certified by AGROCERT as a company that applies the conditions of facilities and uses the specifications of raw materials needed to produce the Melekouni PGI.

7/2/2019: Our company is certified by EQA HELLAS with ISO: 22000 applying quality and food safety systems according to the certification standards.
