Q TRADE was founded in 2017 by Konstantinos Beskas, fulfilling his dream of farming in the place where he was born and raised, Glyki Thesprotia, a small village near the springs of the Acheron river.

Beskas family chose to cultivate kumquat fruit for its special flavor and nutritional value, creating a range of traditional kumquat products under the brand Q VALLEY, aimed at the Greek and International market.

Up to this day, 3000 kumquat trees are being cultivated in 30 acres of land in Glyki, grown under the directives required for the certification of organic farming. The geographical location of the land and the mild climate of the area create the perfect conditions for this crop to thrive, combined with the family’s know-how of the various stages of production, maximizes its benefits. 

The company’s primary goal is to produce, package and distribute fresh kumquat fruit, investing in innovative technologies for this purpose. We also process kumquats using traditional methods to produce marmalade, chutney & spoon sweet, in accordance with ISO 22000 certified food safety management systems.
