Limnos Organic Wines began operations in 2002 with the purpose of producing limited, superior quality wine from organic grapes. It takes advantage of the reliable, rich soil and the dynamic selection of vineyards on the island of Limnos. The company was formed by oenologist Giannis Savvoglou with more than 20 years of experience in superior quality winemaking in Limnos and the Muscat of Alexandria grape, and Pantelis Tsivolas with his studies of business management and extensive experience in wine marketing. The company philosophy is to rely primarily on the charismatic grapes of Muscat of Alexandria, producing in an up to date winery, not only dry aromatic wines, but also a series of eclectic sweet wine, and other types of products with a limited number of bottle production.

The winery follows all the hygienic and quality rules and it is certified according to ELOT 1416/2000(HACCP) and ELOT ISO 9001/2000. The company owners I.Savvoglou - P.Tsivolas, having as main target the preservation of the environment and the health of both producers and consumers, from the very beginning are exclusively using organically grown grapes, which do not contain chemical fertilizers, pesticides, hormones and genetically modified organisms. Our vineyards are being supervised by an experienced agricultural engineer and oenologist and are controlled and certified by Certification and Inspection Organization of Organic Products (D.I.O.)
